Director of Sales

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead the sales function for the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, a luxury resort set in a historic olive grove with stunning mountain views. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will shape strategy, drive revenue, and enhance the resort’s market position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Assist in developing sales strategies and oversee execution of plans to increase direct revenue across all market segments.
• Drive revenue growth by nurturing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
• Ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded to maximize profitability.
• Support the enhancement of the resort’s market positioning and overall performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, preferably within hospitality or luxury resort environments.
• A university degree in a related field is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to remain calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs.
