Director of Security & Engineering

About the role

Provides high‑level property maintenance leadership, overseeing building, grounds and physical plant with a focus on safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for budget, capital projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering operations, budgets and capital expenditure projects, reviewing financial performance and proposing solutions.
• Oversee physical plant systems including HVAC‑R, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and fire‑life safety equipment.
• Administer service contracts, supervise construction projects and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Develop and implement long‑term preventative maintenance and 10‑year asset protection plans.
• Lead the emergency response team and ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of engineering/maintenance experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Building & Construction, Engineering, Mechanics with 4 years experience.
• Technical training in HVAC‑R, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
