Early Childhood Educator – Private Position, Marrakech

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, creative Early Childhood Educator to design and lead a daily learning programme for toddlers, either at home or in a kids’ club in Marrakech. This role focuses on educational development rather than basic childcare, using a Montessori‑inspired, child‑led approach.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a structured, creative daily curriculum based on early‑years development principles.
• Foster independent learning, curiosity, and exploration in children aged 2‑4.
• Build foundational numeracy and literacy skills through developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assess and document progress across cognitive, language, motor, social, and emotional domains.
• Maintain observation records and regularly discuss progress with parents.
• Adapt teaching methods to each child’s interests, personality, and developmental needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience teaching children aged 2‑4.
• Formal qualification in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and recognised early‑years pedagogy.
• Fluent English; Classical Arabic (Fusha) is a significant advantage.
• Professional references required.

Required skills

• Montessori training or demonstrable Montessori experience.
• Ability to create child‑led, inquiry‑based learning experiences.

What we offer

• Full‑time position (6 days a week) with compensation well above market rates.
• Paid trial period before a long‑term engagement.
• Support for relocation to Marrakech from Rabat, Casablanca, Meknes, or Agadir.
