ECS EMEA Business Transformation Analyst

About the role

The role is a Business Transformation Analyst supporting finance and operations across a pan‑EMEA ERP implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012/D365. You will help migrate multiple systems, test new functionality, roll‑out changes and harmonise finance processes across the region. The position reports to the ECS EMEA Financial Processes Manager and works closely with local business units, IT and the Business Transformation team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as business process expert on finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, Ship & Claim, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank.
• Maintain a core model governance structure to manage evolution of finance processes, functional and reporting requirements.
• Harmonise finance processes and procedures across EMEA countries as they move onto the new system.
• Perform gap analysis between local systems/processes and the AX core model.
• Review and validate IT‑delivered functional specifications and conduct user acceptance testing with formal sign‑offs.
• Support implementation of AX add‑on tools (e.g., invoice scanning, cash application) and system migrations, including end‑to‑end testing and post‑go‑live support.
• Deliver end‑user training on financial process areas.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or IT (with finance experience).
• Minimum three years in a Finance‑IT role, including ERP implementation experience.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments and fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
