Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The main purpose of this role is to manage hard and soft services operations across the site, ensuring effective maintenance planning, asset reliability, contractor management, compliance, and operational efficiency while meeting client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment (LV/HV).
• Inspect and test electrical components for safety and functionality.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Install new electrical systems and components as needed.
• Provide reports after maintenance interventions and maintain accurate records (generators, transformers, UPS, TGBT, etc.).
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and follow all HSE protocols.
• Conduct diagnostic testing with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power quality analyzers to identify root causes.
• Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with external electrical contractors on major capital projects and ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.

Required profile

• Specialized technician in electricity (low/high current) with relevant certification.
• Proven experience in facilities/MEP maintenance and managing maintenance activities.
• Experience using CMMS for reporting and operational maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of building systems, MEP operations, and infrastructure maintenance planning.
• Understanding of health & safety compliance, work permit systems, and quality standards.
