Engine Aftertreatment Calibration Engineer

About the role

As an Engine Aftertreatment Calibration Engineer you will lead calibration and integration activities for engine aftertreatment systems such as DOC, DPF and SCR. You will work within Stellantis to ensure that calibrations meet regulatory and customer requirements within project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct physical or numerical tests to develop validation resources for assigned subsystems.
• Post‑process test data, assess relevance and quality of tests, and analyse results against physical phenomena.
• Define optimal calibrations, detect malfunctions, and ensure robustness under extreme operating conditions, including real‑world validation.
• Write calibration reports, communicate progress and issues to the project team, and formalise decisions with the calibration team leader.
• Optimize use of test facilities, integrate impacts from other specialties, and manage deviations with suppliers.
• Apply Stellantis standards, processes and tools, and propose improvements to methodologies.
• Meet assigned deadlines and comply with document‑management rules.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in engine aftertreatment systems or related automotive calibration.
• Ability to organise and manage test execution while maintaining project schedule.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret test data and propose calibration trade‑offs.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and cross‑functional collaboration.
