Engineer Test Systems

About the role

The Engineering department in Tangier is seeking an Engineer Test Systems to design, deploy and maintain test equipment and systems that ensure product verification and compliance with customer technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define specifications and technical requirements for test equipment and tools, and ensure their technical acceptance.
• Develop electrical test programs based on cable technical drawings and optimise test modules.
• Prepare micro‑layouts and guarantee the availability of all required equipment, tools and infrastructure.
• Validate electrical test system parameters with relevant departments and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyse the impact of technical changes on test equipment and update test modules accordingly.
• Develop technical instructions and operating procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Organise and monitor preventive maintenance activities using standardised checklists.
• Supervise installation, relocation or transfer of test equipment in the production area.
• Manage inventory status, identify scrap and coordinate with the controlling department.
• Train newly recruited employees on test equipment and procedures.
• Perform FMEA activities and evaluate potential risks.
• Propose and evaluate improvement actions related to testing processes and equipment.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with safety rules.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering, capacity calculation and line balancing.
• Understanding of ergonomics and production flow optimisation.
• Ability to manage technical changes and industrial projects.
• Fluent in French and good level of English; German or Spanish is a plus.
• Autonomous, results‑driven and strong team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of FMEA methodology.
