Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager will lead all health, safety and environmental activities for Lear's Rabat plant. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will drive the evolution of Lear’s safety culture and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define the organization’s context, interested parties, external and internal issues, and conduct risk analysis.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve the plant’s HS&E management system, manuals and procedures.
• Provide HS&E training, consulting and expertise to all departments.
• Set short‑ and long‑term HS&E goals, support policy implementation and monitor performance.
• Lead HS&E audits for each department, using supervisory personnel.
• Design and implement advanced HS&E procedures for new projects.
• Advise on safe equipment design and ensure compliance with national regulations and Lear HS&E codes.
• Act as the primary spokesperson and consultant on all HS&E matters, liaising with internal teams, local HS&E committees and external authorities.
• Verify product and process conformity with IATF, customer‑specific and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in health, safety and environmental management.
• Familiarity with industry HS&E standards and national regulations.
• Fluent in French, English and the local language.
• Commitment to the philosophy that all injuries and HS&E incidents are preventable.
