Execution / Order-Handling Analyst

About the role

Société Générale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) Morocco is hiring one Execution / Order-Handling Analyst to support Bernstein SG's cash equities activities in Casablanca. The analyst monitors order execution and provides timely, accurate intelligence on order status, market conditions and execution performance, supporting Trader Assistants, Sales Traders and client-facing teams through reporting, exception management and end-of-day communications. The role also contributes to AI-powered workflows, automation and data-driven decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real-time execution progress, including fills, remaining quantity and estimated time to completion, and assess the residual position at market close and execution risks.
• Track participation rates against the market volume curve and analyse passive and aggressive fills through would-volume analysis.
• Monitor order proximity to limit prices, volatility, spreads, liquidity and pre-open or intraday market changes.
• Provide expected forward order placement and live summaries of macro conditions, sector flows and index performance.
• Support intraday benchmark feedback, including implementation shortfall and VWAP/TWAP analysis.
• Manage execution exceptions such as risk alerts and algo-placement issues, escalating material matters.
• Prepare personalised end-of-day communications for High-Touch clients and internal stakeholders.
• Use AI-powered execution-intelligence tools, validate AI-generated outputs, and identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation.

Required profile

• Intermediate experience (3 to 5 years).
• Strong understanding of equity order workflows, execution terminology and market microstructure.
• Ability to interpret fills, participation rates, volume curves, limit-price proximity and residual-position risk.
• Good knowledge of arrival price, VWAP, TWAP and implementation shortfall.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and written communication skills in a time-sensitive environment.
• Awareness of AI governance, model limitations and data confidentiality in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Proficiency with approved generative AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot.
