Fabric Inspector – Quality Management

About the role

WORMS Safety is seeking an experienced Fabric Inspector to ensure that garments, footwear and fabrics meet approved standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements. You will conduct inspections throughout production, identify defects, and support corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality across factories.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑line, pre‑production and final inspections of garments, footwear and fabrics.
• Verify product quality against approved samples, technical specifications and inspection standards.
• Check measurements, stitching, fabric quality, colors, trims, printing, embroidery and overall workmanship.
• Conduct technical audits when required and ensure packing, labeling and carton markings comply with client requirements.
• Record and report defects in both French and English using the standard template.
• Apply AQL standards, monitor corrective actions and verify implementation.
• Coordinate with production, technical and quality teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in garment, footwear or fabric inspection and textile quality control.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards for garments, footwear and fabrics.
• Familiarity with AQL inspection methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to factories as needed.
