Facilities Specialist II – Building Modification & Energy Efficiency

About the role

As a Facilities Specialist II you will support TE Connectivity in managing building modifications, new projects and energy‑efficiency initiatives. You will ensure performance monitoring, dashboard reporting and effective service‑provider management across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor building performance and maintain dashboards.
• Lead building modification projects and new construction initiatives.
• Develop specifications, instructions and procedures for facility work.
• Drive energetic efficiency programs and manage service providers.
• Validate modification procedures and update technical and production building plans.
• Conduct supplier consultations and oversee spare‑part ordering (quotation, PR, PO, receipt).
• Track consumption, perform weekly stock threshold checks and manage quarterly inventory updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use CAD software.
• Understanding of construction methods, maintenance practices and HSE requirements.
• Proven project coordination and contractor/vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
