Field Support Engineer

About the role

The Field Support Engineer joins the Operations organization of Secure Land Communications, reporting to the Project/Care Manager. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling incidents, network integration, and acceptance testing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer requests and provide technical support via phone or remote tools.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex telecommunication systems and incidents.
• Verify corrective actions from R&D and support rollout or upgrade operations.
• Prepare and execute network integration and acceptance procedures on site.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with experience in telecommunications or IT.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work in changing, high‑pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Willingness to travel frequently worldwide.
• Team spirit, autonomy, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Agile methodology
• Test automation tools: Robot Framework, Python
• Radio and terminal platform knowledge (e.g., Airbus Tetra)
• Help‑desk experience
