Finance Associate – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

JTI is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Casablanca team, reporting to the Entity Finance Manager N&WA. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, timely month‑end close, and compliance with both IFRS and local GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all accounting transactions for JTI Morocco entities, ensuring compliance with IAS/IFRS and local regulations.
• Review and post entries from the Global Business Service Center, including AP, AR, intercompany revenues, manual accruals and cash.
• Manage invoice processing, GRIR clearing, and fixed‑asset creation and monitoring.
• Coordinate statutory closing activities with external auditors and oversee inventory and asset controls.
• Support month‑end closing, assist in entity planning exercises, and prepare internal reports such as Cbcr, JCFC and insurance filings.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to optimise finance processes, procedures and systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience in a Big 4 audit firm or a multinational corporation.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP or similar accounting software.
• Expertise in IFRS and local GAAP compliance.
• Proficiency with reporting tools and financial process optimisation.
