Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the company’s financial function in Morocco, ensuring robust accounting, budgeting and reporting processes that support strategic decision‑making. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for safeguarding financial integrity while driving growth initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to inform management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Moroccan tax regulations, accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors, banks and relevant authorities.
• Develop and improve financial policies, internal controls and reporting processes.
• Monitor business performance, identify financial risks and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support strategic planning, investment analysis and business expansion projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• 8+ years of finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards, taxation and financial regulations.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cash‑flow management and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in French and English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience in a multinational or international business environment is preferred.
