Financial Audit Assistant

About the role

The Mazars Global Audit & Assurance team is looking for Associates to carry out procedures and testing on multiple audit engagements. Reporting directly to an Officer, the successful candidate works across several teams from different countries, using templates and digital solutions to deliver high-quality, efficient audits.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a selection of procedures in line with Forvis Mazars' audit methodology and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conclude on the testing and report any related findings.
• Work on multiple engagements for several teams from different countries.
• Use templates and digital solutions to deliver a high quality and efficient audit.
• Assess and report progress and conclusions to the Officer and engagement teams.
• Identify missing information and formulate additional requests to the engagement teams.
• Communicate difficulties and ask for assistance when appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3).
• Accounting or finance academic background with fluency in French or English, written and spoken.
• German or Dutch skills are a strong plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Autonomous, well-organised and thorough, able to work independently with little supervision and within a team.
• Dedicated to high quality standards and professional behaviour.
• Commitment to following procedures, using templates and meeting deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and openness to technology and new digital solutions.
