Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance function. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain robust internal controls, and provide strategic insight to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end closing, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, highlighting performance and variances.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop financial forecasts and projections to aid strategic planning.
• Manage the budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
• Coordinate year‑end closing, including preparation of financial statements and schedules.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors during the annual statutory audit.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Manage tax audits, liaising with authorities and providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an audit firm or a comparable financial management role.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
