Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will act as the strategic financial leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis and control to support the brand’s service strategy and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data, market trends and forecast sales versus expenses to create annual budget plans.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Develop profit‑improvement initiatives, evaluate cost‑benefit of new opportunities and support pricing decisions.
• Maintain strong accounting controls, safeguard assets and ensure accurate profit‑and‑loss reporting.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, communicate strategic goals and hold staff accountable for results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (4 years) with at least 2 years relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience required.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data and think creatively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive financial decisions.
