Financial Controller – Projects & Reporting

About the role

OPmobility is seeking a Financial Controller to lead project‑related financial reporting and drive digital transformation of finance processes. The role combines month‑end close responsibilities with strategic budgeting, cash‑flow analysis, and support for industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the digitalisation and automation of project code creation in collaboration with Finance, PMO, IT and SAP teams.
• Accelerate the digitalisation of financial reporting tools and processes.
• Own the monthly financial close, consolidate results and prepare presentation decks.
• Perform detailed variance analysis against budget, flash and prior‑year figures.
• Analyse free cash‑flow using direct and indirect methods.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning cycles.
• Support project milestones, track claims, accruals and consolidate impairments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or Business School.
• 3‑5 years of experience in controlling, audit or financial reporting, preferably in an industrial or multi‑site environment.
• Proven experience in month‑end close, variance analysis, cash‑flow tracking and operational consolidation.
• Exposure to budget/forecast/strategic‑plan cycles is a strong plus.
• Experience with industrial or development project tracking is appreciated.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent.
• Understanding of financial statements, P&L, and cash‑flow mechanisms (direct and indirect).
• Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
