Flying Analyst Engineer – Casablanca

About the role

AVL is seeking a Flying Analyst Engineer to join its Casablanca team. You will support powertrain and vehicle projects by ensuring the operability of electronic resources, analysing data, and contributing to diagnostic processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain software configuration and functionality of ECU resources.
• Support preparation of powertrain (GMP) and vehicle project activities.
• Reproduce and analyse issues based on requester specifications.
• Perform complex data recordings and generate detailed technical reports.
• Track and resolve diagnostic fault codes (X‑Codes) and identify electrical/electronic non‑conformities.
• Anticipate potential failures and propose preventive action plans.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics or Embedded Systems.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Solid understanding of ECU architectures.
• Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and an analytical mindset.
• Valid Category B driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CANoe.
• Proficiency with CANalyzer.
• Proficiency with INCA.
