Freelance Editorial Graphic Designer

About the role

We are looking for a highly rigorous freelance Graphic Designer to create print‑ready editorial layouts for a key client. The role focuses on transforming raw assets, copy, and product data into polished multi‑page publications that strictly follow the client’s brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative direction, grid systems, style sheets, and cover designs for catalogs.
• Organise, format, and typeset large volumes of product specifications, technical sheets, images, and pricing tables.
• Produce multi‑page documents optimized for both physical printing and high‑quality digital flipbooks.
• Design corporate brochures and leaflets with clear typography and hierarchy.
• Perform pre‑press checks, verify image resolution, CMYK profiles, bleeds, margins, and ink limits.
• Deliver flawless, print‑ready PDFs that meet the client’s commercial printer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in editorial and multi‑page print design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated catalog, brochure, or book layouts.
• Fluent written and spoken English; all communication and deliverables are in English.
• Deep understanding of the print production pipeline, pre‑press standards, and colour management.

Required skills

• Expert level Adobe InDesign (master pages, styles, automated tables, long‑document handling).
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop for image correction.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator for vector elements.
• Knowledge of CMYK colour management and pre‑press technical requirements.
