Functional Test Engineer

About the role

AXA Global Business Services Morocco is looking for a Functional Test Engineer to join its IT department. Working within a feature‑team environment, you will help ensure that all delivered digital products meet the required specifications, regulatory standards and user‑experience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Validate that software releases comply with functional specifications, security, legal and accessibility standards.
• Organise, design, automate and execute functional and technical test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to define test scope and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain test documentation and report defects in accordance with the IT testing policy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools based on project needs and seniority.

Required profile

• Experience in functional testing of software applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team and follow established testing policies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret specifications and translate them into test scenarios.
• Good understanding of security, legal and accessibility requirements relevant to digital services.
