General Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a General Accountant to join our finance team and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The role involves managing month‑end close processes, overseeing ledger activities, and supporting tax compliance while collaborating closely with senior finance leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly closing activities, meeting group deadlines and complying with local accounting standards (CGNC).
• Supervise general ledger operations, including manual adjustments such as accruals, stock depreciation, and payroll entries.
• Prepare and file tax declarations, ensuring full legal compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate statutory and internal audit processes.
• Work with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Taxation, or Financial Analysis.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an audit firm.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
