General Manager – Luxury Hotel (Marrakech)

About the role

The General Manager will lead the hotel’s overall performance, balancing strategic focus on guest experience, revenue generation and commercial results. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will ensure smooth operations, high guest satisfaction and strong brand reputation across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the masterplan while driving guest experience, RevPAR, ADR and overall profitability.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to maximise business opportunities, manage the hotel budget and ensure compliance with legislation and due‑diligence requirements.
• Lead, develop and retain high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, asset managers and corporate stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and delivering agreed business objectives.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and willing to relocate to Morocco.
• 10–15 years progressive hotel leadership experience, including at least 5 years as General Manager in an upscale, luxury or international brand.
• Proven track record managing full hotel operations (Rooms, F&B, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR).
• Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success driving RevPAR, occupancy, market share and profitability.
• Extensive experience with multiple revenue streams such as Food & Beverage, events, weddings and leisure operations.
