Global Internal Communication Officer

About the role

The Global Internal Communication Officer will join Save the Children International’s CEO Office to help connect more than 25,000 staff across 110 countries. Working within a small, collaborative internal communications unit, the role creates clear, engaging content that informs, inspires and strengthens the global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal communications that translate the Global Strategy and organisational updates into accessible stories.
• Manage key internal channels, including the weekly global newsletter and digital platforms for a remote‑first workforce.
• Collaborate with country offices, senior leaders and the CEO to produce timely communications during emergencies and periods of change.
• Support the design and execution of inclusive virtual events that encourage conversation and participation across regions.
• Assist senior leadership in communicating with authenticity and impact.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages such as French, Arabic or Spanish are a plus.
• Experience creating compelling content for large, geographically dispersed audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible, hybrid environment.
• Right to work in the country of assignment.
