Group Accounting Manager

About the role

The Group Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening and structuring the finance and accounting function of a leading international industrial group. Working closely with senior leadership, the role focuses on robust financial governance, reporting, consolidation, and tax processes across a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and governance across the organization.
• Manage group consolidation and financial reporting activities in compliance with IFRS requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to corporate stakeholders.
• Oversee tax compliance and support tax structuring initiatives.
• Coordinate relationships with external and statutory auditors.
• Drive finance transformation projects, process improvements, and system implementations.
• Support the development of a scalable accounting organization aligned with business growth.
• Partner closely with senior finance leadership on strategic initiatives and financial control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting, audit, consolidation, or financial reporting.
• Previous experience within a Big Four environment (PwC, EY, Deloitte, or KPMG) is highly preferred.
• Proven experience working in an international and multicultural setting.
• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or automotive sectors is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and French with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in IFRS and international financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in consolidation, taxation, and corporate reporting.
