Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our automotive electronics team. Reporting to the Hardware Engineering Manager, you will design and verify hardware schematics, select components, and ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, define, implement and verify hardware requirements.
• Create and release accurate schematics and related technical documentation.
• Select electronic components in line with quality, technical and preferred‑supplier criteria.
• Manage change requests, perform impact analysis and maintain supporting documentation.
• Apply functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity procedures, contributing to FMEDA, FTA and DFMEA deliverables.
• Develop test specifications, coordinate validation activities and conduct environmental, electrical and connector tests.
• Perform failure analysis, root‑cause investigations and prepare test samples.
• Document and present test results, and compile release and validation reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in the automotive hardware or electronics domain.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
