Hardware Engineer

About the role

As a Hardware Engineer you will design and develop automotive hardware solutions that satisfy customer, regulatory, quality, functional safety and cybersecurity requirements. You will translate system requirements into robust hardware designs while working closely with cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze stakeholder, customer and internal requirements and convert them into hardware specifications.
• Design hardware schematics, select components and define circuit architectures that meet performance, quality and cost targets.
• Verify designs through simulations, circuit analyses and design reviews.
• Create and maintain development documentation, including schematics, netlists, traceability matrices and release packages.
• Support functional safety and cybersecurity activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct technical investigations, root‑cause analysis, worst‑case circuit analysis and assist DFMEA activities.
• Manage engineering changes and component replacements, performing feasibility studies and supporting corrective actions.
• Collaborate with system, software, mechanical, testing, manufacturing, suppliers and customers to ensure successful product delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware design for automotive or embedded electronic products.
• Hands‑on experience with schematic design, component selection, circuit simulation and hardware verification.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards and methods (DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA).
• Knowledge of automotive development processes, change management, cybersecurity concepts and cross‑functional product development.
