Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop Engineer – Body/Brain Systems

About the role

The position focuses on developing and maintaining Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop (HIL) environments for Body and Brain electronic control units (ECUs). You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate simulation and testing of vehicle functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain HIL environments for Brain ECUs.
• Set up I/O channels, model I/O simulation, and perform rest‑of‑bus (SoftECU) simulation.
• Configure component and subsystem HIL simulators.
• Develop and verify HIL setups for anomaly reproduction and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems or related engineering field.
• Successful experience in HIL engineering.
• M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset.
• Good level of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• MATLAB/Simulink (dSPACE toolchain is a plus).
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• Knowledge of HIL simulation environments.
• Familiarity with Body vehicle features (optional).
