Head of Product - Credit

About the role

As Head of Product – Credit at Yakeey, you will lead the mortgage financing product line, shaping the end‑to‑end credit journey for home buyers in Morocco. You will define the product vision, work closely with partner banks, agents and internal tech teams, and drive the roadmap from loan application through notary signing.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the credit product roadmap covering application, scoring, pre‑approval, exceptions and notary workflow.
• Manage and coach a dedicated Credit Product team (product managers, product owners, product operations).
• Ensure seamless experience across end‑users, agents and partner banking journeys.
• Integrate credit tools into the agent cockpit and client mobile app.
• Collaborate with operations to improve approval rates and reduce processing time.
• Iterate the product based on field feedback, user behavior and partner input.
• Align cross‑functional stakeholders (tech, data, legal, sales, ops) around shared priorities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, with a solid background in credit, fintech or banking.
• Proven track record of leading and growing product teams.
• Strong cross‑functional alignment and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset and ROI focus.
• Customer‑ and business‑oriented with attention to detail and execution ability.
• Comfortable interfacing with internal teams and external partners.
