Health, Safety & Environment Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager to lead our occupational health, safety, environmental and facility management programs at our Salé site. The role ensures compliance with regulations, drives continuous improvement, and supports business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and fire protection regulations.
• Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies, programs and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and define preventive and corrective actions.
• Organise safety training, awareness programs and emergency preparedness activities.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, evacuation procedures and fire prevention measures.
• Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and usage.
• Support and maintain management systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Oversee environmental protection activities, waste management and hazardous substance handling.
• Plan and supervise maintenance, renovation and infrastructure projects.
• Manage technical condition of facilities, including electrical, HVAC, water, wastewater and compressed air systems.
• Coordinate external contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor technical inspections, certifications and preventive maintenance.
• Control facility budgets, monitor costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Drive energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Facility Management, Engineering or comparable field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in occupational health, safety, environmental or facility management within a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience, including team management and budget responsibility.
• Proven experience in the automotive industry; wiring harness manufacturing is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of applicable health, safety, environmental and fire protection regulations.
• Experience implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Solid understanding of facility operations, maintenance processes and technical infrastructure.
• Fluent in English; French and Arabic are advantageous.
