Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at a Marriott hotel in Fes. The role involves maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
• Transport and restock housekeeping carts with supplies.
• Enter guest rooms, verify vacancy, and replace amenities, linens, and towels.
• Make beds, fold towels, clean bathrooms, and remove trash and used linens.
• Inspect rooms for functional appliances and report any maintenance issues.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor‑care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, including proper handling of flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and quality standards.
