Housekeeping Supervisor – Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Rabat Marriott Hotel to ensure guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott’s quality standards. The role involves inspecting cleaned areas, managing room status reports, coordinating with multiple departments and supporting housekeeping management in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning and update departing room statuses.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments and ensure smooth handover to the next shift.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching housekeeping staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance, and to stand, walk and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
