IL6S Engineer – Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the role

The IL6S Engineer will support Mondelēz International’s continuous improvement (CI) initiatives by maintaining systems, collecting accurate data, and promoting a culture of performance excellence across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Provide training on CI tools and techniques and guide teams in using the daily management system (DMS).
• Assist departments in data collection, extraction, and validation to support CI activities and DMS reporting.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis to address losses and close gaps on departmental KPI scorecards.
• Develop and implement new work standards that sustain improvement gains.
• Train and qualify colleagues on CI tools and newly established work standards.

Required profile

• Experience with continuous improvement and high‑performance work systems.
• Strong facilitation and communication abilities to lead CI discussions.
• Practical knowledge of lean and/or TPM tools in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Ability to manipulate and validate data in both manual and automated systems.
• Organized, disciplined, and logical thinking to extract insights from data.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data analytics tools.
