Industrial Engineering Intern – Machine Layout Optimization

About the role
Join STMicroelectronics as an Industrial Engineering Intern and support the redesign of our manufacturing footprint. You will work on consolidating multiple sawing areas into a single, efficient zone, helping to improve workflow and productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse the current machine layout and propose an optimized footprint.
- Determine the best equipment arrangement for the centralized sawing area.
- Assess headcount and resource requirements after the merger.
- Assist in creating an implementation plan that ensures a smooth transition and higher productivity.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering.
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in business‑level English.
