Ingénieur test et validation – Systèmes embarqués (HIL)

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is looking for a Test and Validation Engineer specialized in embedded automotive systems. The role focuses on Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing of electronic control units (ECUs) to ensure performance, reliability and compliance with automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop test cases for ECUs and subsystems on HIL platforms.
• Execute validation campaigns and troubleshoot HIL bench issues.
• Maintain and update simulation models and test scenarios.
• Automate test scripts using Python, CAPL or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse test results, produce detailed reports and track defect trends.
• Validate communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet and UDS.
• Ensure testing activities comply with ISO 26262, ASPICE and OEM guidelines.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems or related engineering field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in HIL testing for automotive applications.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electronic architecture and communication protocols.
• Excellent English communication skills.
