Internal Control Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Internal Control Manager will support and audit the execution of Marriott’s control environment processes throughout the Rabat Marriott Hotel. The role works closely with departmental leaders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and SOP audits across all hotel areas.
• Interact with operations leaders to achieve control environment goals and provide training.
• Generate accurate reports and presentations on audit results and financial performance.
• Verify that audits are completed correctly, on time, and in line with Marriott standards.
• Support month‑end audit functions and ensure accurate profit and loss documentation.
• Provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies to other units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (4‑year program).
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related professional area.
• Knowledge of Marriott SOPs, risk assessment tools, quarterly and SRA audit requirements.
• Ability to stay up‑to‑date with technical accounting standards and apply them.
• Proficiency in using computers and financial spreadsheets for data analysis.
