IXL Application Design Leader – Railway Signalling

About the role

Alstom is looking for a full‑time IXL Application Design Leader to join its railway signalling team in Morocco. You will apply your expertise in signalling studies to deliver high‑quality designs while meeting cost and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and verify railway signalling studies (PR, PT, EXE, Param) for new installations or system modifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, internal processes, budgets and deadlines.
• Manage and integrate input data throughout the study lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project coordinators, clients and technical teams to align progress.
• Analyse technical challenges, propose solutions and capture lessons learned.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of methods, processes and tools.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and training to less experienced colleagues.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in railway signalling systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of applicable railway standards and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with PAI and ETCS1 technologies.
• Methodical work style with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
• Fluency in French; English proficiency is a plus.
