Junior Accountant

About the role

eCarsTrade is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its Finance team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work remotely while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing international B2B car‑resale platform.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts payable & receivable) and match payments.
• Prepare and register payments in the accounting system.
• Support VAT registration by ensuring correct VAT coding and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in Exact Online or a similar accounting software.
• Provide general administrative support for contracts and finance‑related documentation.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience (internships count).
• Basic applied knowledge of accounting principles.
• Detail‑oriented, accurate, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Motivated to build a career in accounting and comfortable handling confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Exact Online or comparable accounting software.
• Understanding of VAT principles, preferably EU VAT.
