Junior EHS Technician

About the role

Adient is seeking a motivated Junior EHS Technician to support the implementation of environmental, health and safety standards at its Kenitra facility. Reporting to the EHS Coordinator, you will help ensure compliance with global and Moroccan regulations while fostering a strong safety culture among employees.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce EHS requirements across the site.
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards, unsafe acts and conditions, and propose corrective actions.
• Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents and near‑misses.
• Track implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Verify proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support safety awareness campaigns and employee training sessions.

Required profile

• Degree in EHS or a related technical field.
• First experience in an EHS role.
• Understanding of Moroccan EHS regulations and global standards.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with risk‑based thinking.
• High ethical standards, rigor and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Energetic, proactive and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 14001.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001.
