Junior EHS Technician

About the role

The Junior EHS Technician will support the implementation of environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements at Adient’s Kenitra facility. Reporting to the EHS Coordinator, the role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with local and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure application of EHS requirements across the site.
• Follow‑up on the implementation of safety instructions.
• Promote safety‑culture awareness among employees.
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards, unsafe acts and conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in accident, incident and near‑miss investigations.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support safety awareness campaigns and employee training sessions.

Required profile

• EHS or technical degree.
• First experience in an EHS position.
• Knowledge of global EHS standards and Moroccan regulations.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and risk‑based thinking.
• High level of ethics, integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Energetic, proactive and results‑oriented attitude.
