Kitchen Operations Group Leader – ZENATA Store

About the role

The Kitchen Operations Group Leader at the ZENATA store is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience while ensuring high‑quality food service, safety compliance and commercial performance. You will lead a team, develop action plans and act as the main ambassador for IKEA Food in the store.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure guests are always the focus, delivering friendly service and gathering feedback to improve the experience.
• Develop and execute an annual commercial action plan aligned with the store and country business plans.
• Maintain product quality and availability by following product sheets, HACCP procedures and range matrices.
• Train and coach co‑workers on new products, food safety standards and StorePoint cost calculations.
• Drive sales and profitability through daily commercial activities, price positioning and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor competition, adjust pricing and product offers to maintain a strong market position.

• Experience recruiting, coaching and succession planning within a food‑service environment.
• Strong communication skills to ensure clear internal information flow.
• Commitment to a safety‑first culture and sustainability initiatives.

Required skills

• HACCP and food‑safety knowledge.
• Proficiency with StorePoint and basic cost‑calculation tools.
• Ability to analyse profit‑and‑loss reports and commercial performance data.
