Launch Engineer

About the role

Reporting directly to the Launch Manager, the Launch Engineer will ensure manufacturing readiness, maintain program timelines and manage the open issues list to meet customer milestones. The role supports the launch of automotive seating products at Adient's Kenitra plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain timeline, secure manufacturing readiness and monitor open issues to achieve program milestones.
• Follow up on plant deliverables, engineering deadlines and ensure alignment with program schedule.
• Manage launch startup cost according to budget and supervise launch performance reporting.
• Monitor trim cover deliveries to meet production build quantities and dates.
• Support AME in manufacturing feasibility reviews and ensure quality documentation is completed and approved.
• Coordinate internal dry runs and external Trim Plant R@R (Run ‘n Rate) to verify product specifications and takt time.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years experience as a Launch Engineer or Project Leader.
• Knowledge of APQP, AIAG quality planning, control plans, FMEA, PPAP and dimensional layout standards.
