Lead Buyer

About the role

The mission of the Lead Buyer is to manage and optimize Non‑Trade (Indirect) Procurement activities across North Africa, ensuring effective sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and category management in support of CEVA's business objectives and cost‑optimization targets. The role is accountable for delivering category performance, implementing procurement strategies, and driving value through strong supplier and stakeholder partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement local category strategies aligned with CEVA procurement objectives.
• Conduct needs analysis, identify cost‑optimization opportunities and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Lead tendering processes, supplier selection and contract negotiations, building strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Act as primary interface between procurement and internal stakeholders, communicating sourcing decisions and promoting best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, purchasing, law, business administration, engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, supplier negotiation and contract management within an international, multi‑site environment.
• Experience in transport, logistics or industrial sectors is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
