Lead Buyer – Procurement & Category Management

About the role

The Lead Buyer will oversee Non‑Trade (Indirect) Procurement across North Africa, aligning sourcing activities with CEVA’s business goals, compliance standards, and cost‑optimization targets. You will act as the primary bridge between internal stakeholders and the supplier ecosystem, driving value through strategic partnerships and best‑in‑class purchasing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement local category strategies that support global procurement objectives.
• Conduct needs analysis, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
• Lead tendering processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations, securing favorable commercial terms.
• Maintain and develop relationships with strategic suppliers and support the rollout of global agreements.
• Serve as the main interface between procurement and internal business units, communicating sourcing decisions and promoting procurement excellence.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Purchasing, Law, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, supplier negotiation and contract management, preferably in a multi‑site, international environment.
• Experience in transport, logistics or industrial sectors is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English.
