Lead Nursery Supervisor

About the role

The Lead Nursery Supervisor will join Driscoll’s Operations Department in Sidi Bouknadel, Morocco, overseeing the production of high‑quality berry plants for growers. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the role ensures timely, full‑quantity deliveries while maintaining genetic standards and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement best‑growing practices with the Nursery Manager to achieve the highest plant quality.
• Introduce and adapt innovative cultivation techniques to enhance berry quality.
• Supervise field teams, plan tasks and labour, and lead daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor equipment condition, and coordinate timely mechanical repairs.
• Support weekly crop planning and develop clear work strategies for each crop.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across the nursery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 3‑5 years of horticulture experience.
• Proven people‑management experience in a plant‑nursery or berry‑crop environment.
• Familiarity with berry crops, substrate production, and general horticultural practices.
• Strong leadership, communication (English preferred, French required) and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and navigate complex farming operations.
