Lean Engineer

About the role

Join Aeolon Renewable Energy’s Continuous Improvement team as a Lean Engineer. You will drive operational excellence across our wind turbine blade manufacturing plant in Nador, applying Lean principles to boost productivity, quality, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production departments.
• Analyze processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and efficiency opportunities.
• Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, Poka‑Yoke, and Line Balancing.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement, and capacity analysis to improve labor productivity.
• Optimize layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flow.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including OEE, productivity, cycle time, lead time, scrap rate, yield, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and A3 problem‑solving.
• Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and improvement documentation.
• Support digital performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HSE, and Industrial Engineering teams.
• Lead Kaizen workshops, train supervisors and operators, and support new line launches.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record delivering measurable productivity, quality, or cost improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, Poka‑Yoke, Line Balancing).
• Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, A3).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI (preferred).
• Minitab (preferred).
• Experience with ERP and/or MES systems (preferred).
