Logistics Officer

About the role

The Logistics Officer will coordinate and manage the supply chain and logistical support for aviation operations. This includes handling aviation parts, equipment, inventory control, transport coordination and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage storage and distribution of aviation parts and supplies, coordinating timely delivery to maintenance teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, ensure parts availability for planned and unplanned maintenance, and process returns to stock.
• Liaise with suppliers, support contract negotiations and oversee procurement of high‑value items such as engines and APUs.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with aviation safety regulations, maintain traceability documentation, and handle customs clearance for international shipments.
• Arrange inbound and outbound shipments, work with freight forwarders and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Provide rapid logistical support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and collaborate closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in aviation logistics.
• Fluent in the local language; English is an advantage.
• IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Good knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
