Machinist IV

About the role

TE is looking for a Machinist IV to join our manufacturing team. You will work with diverse colleagues to set up, fabricate, assemble, maintain, and test machinery for experimental projects, ensuring high‑quality output and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Set up machine tools and perform fabrication, assembly, and testing of equipment according to established procedures.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, document defects, and investigate root causes.
• Interpret blueprints and design documents to develop prototype models and generate toolpaths.
• Audit inventory to confirm availability of parts needed for build, repair, and testing.
• Fabricate prototype‑level components and establish machining processes for new parts.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, calibrate equipment, and ensure routine service compliance.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of related machining experience.
• High school diploma; vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
