Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Maintenance Engineer to join Alstom’s team in Fez. In this position you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our rail‑related equipment by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, testing and modifying machinery to improve reliability.
• Maintain and update process documentation, daily maintenance logs and compliance records.
• Supervise equipment modifications for new models, process changes or expansion projects.
• Monitor facilities that support process equipment and conduct precision alignments and calibrations.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, including Lock‑Out Tag‑Out procedures.
• Source and order required parts and supplies.
• Operate forklifts, man‑lifts and other material‑handling equipment safely.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Certification in equipment maintenance or a related field is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
