Maintenance Leader – Automotive Press Lines

About the role

We are a leading international automotive group seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Leader to oversee the reliability of our press lines and production equipment. You will coordinate a technical team, work directly on the shop floor, and drive continuous improvement in equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the maintenance technician team.
• Plan preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance for mechanical and servo presses (1600 t or 2000 t) and related production equipment.
• Ensure equipment reliability, availability and efficiency.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement continuous‑improvement actions.
• Monitor KPIs such as safety, quality, productivity and uptime.
• Manage the maintenance budget, spare‑parts inventory and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Experience in the automotive industry, preferably with mechanical or servo presses.
• Hands‑on electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Technical degree in electrical engineering, mechanics, electromechanics or a related field.
• Proven experience leading a maintenance team, even on a short‑term basis.
